COMBATS CORROSION AND WATER CONTAMINATION
Hybrid engines operate intermittently, making them especially vulnerable to corrosion. Infrequent use and reduced load on the ICE leads to lower engine temperatures that are insufficient to completely remove condensation inside the engine by evaporation, which can lead to rust, wear and decreased efficiency. AMSOIL 100% Synthetic Hybrid Motor Oil is formulated with a boosted dose of inhibitors to help prevent condensation-related corrosion and maintain optimal engine performance. It also contains an elevated level of dispersants to manage water that enters through condensation.
PROTECTS AGAINST FUEL DILUTION
Frequent stop/start activity can lead to cooler cylinders and incomplete combustion, increasing the likelihood of unburnt fuel leaking down the cylinder walls into the crankcase and contaminating the motor oil — reducing its ability to provide proper lubrication. AMSOIL 100% Synthetic Hybrid Motor Oil is engineered with robust viscosity to combat the negative effects of fuel dilution.
CONTROLS VISCOSITY
Because they are used intermittently, hybrid engines endure more frequent starts and stops and motor oil flows intermittently. Therefore, oil needs to flow quickly when the engine engages to reach critical components. The issue is more severe when the engine engages to assist the electric motor during high-load and must instantly reach high rpm. AMSOIL 100% Synthetic Hybrid Motor Oil is formulated to manage those issues with optimal low-temperature viscosity control to ensure rapid protection of components at startup.

0W-20 (HE020): API SP (Resource Conserving), SN Plus, SN….; ILSAC GF-6A, GF-5, GF-4…; GM dexos1* Gen 3 (supersedes dexos1 Gen 2 and 6094M); Chrysler MS-6395; Ford WSS-M2C962-A1.
COMPATIBILITY
AMSOIL 100% Synthetic Hybrid Motor Oil is compatible with other conventional and synthetic motor oils. Mixing other oils with AMSOIL motor oils, however, will shorten the oil’s life expectancy and reduce its performance benefits. AMSOIL does not support extended drain intervals where oils have been mixed. Aftermarket oil additives are not recommended for use with AMSOIL synthetic motor oils
SERVICE LIFE
Normal Service – Up to 15,000 miles or one year, whichever comes first, in personal vehicles not operating under severe service.
Severe Service – Follow the severe-service drain interval prescribed by your vehicle manufacturer in your owner’s manual.
