  Restores Horsepower & Improves Fuel Economy

  Diesel fuel injector deposits disrupt spray patterns, leading to poor fuel atomization, incomplete combustion, increased emissions, and excess smoke. These issues are especially problematic in high-pressure common-rail fuel systems, where injection pressures approaching 30,000 psi rely on extremely tight tolerances.

  Injector components in these systems operate with clearances as small as 1–3 microns. Even minimal internal diesel injector deposits on the injector pintle or needle can cause sticking or seizure, reducing combustion efficiency, fuel economy, and overall performance. Traditional diesel fuel additives are not formulated to address these tough internal deposits.

  AMSOIL Diesel Injector Clean uses advanced chemistry to remove both internal diesel injector deposits and traditional carbonaceous buildup. The result is restored horsepower, smoother acceleration, improved power and torque, and fuel economy gains of up to 4.5 percent.   Lubricates Fuel Pump & Injectors

  Ultra-low-sulfur diesel fuel (ULSD) has significantly reduced lubricity – a critical property in controlling wear in fuel pumps and injectors. AMSOIL Diesel Injector Clean adds back the lubricity the fuel pump and injectors need, improving service life and saving time and money on maintenance costs.

  Reduces Soot and Improves Combustion Efficiency

  By cleaning fuel injectors and piston rings, AMSOIL Diesel Injector Clean promotes more complete combustion and improved sealing. This minimizes soot loading caused by incomplete combustion and helps keep soot out of the crankcase, reducing soot-related wear and oil thickening between oil changes.

  Separates Fuel and Water

  This alcohol-free diesel fuel additive helps prevent fuel and water emulsions, allowing fuel filters to effectively separate and remove water before it reaches sensitive fuel system components. Improved water separation helps prevent corrosion, supports cold-weather drivability during winter months, and protects injectors and pumps from moisture-related damage.

  Heating Oil Performance Benefits

  AMSOIL Diesel Injector Clean can also be used in heating oil applications. It improves fuel storage stability, provides corrosion protection, extends fuel-oil filter life, and helps keep fuel-oil nozzles clean for proper spray and combustion. For outdoor fuel storage in freezing temperatures, AMSOIL Diesel Cold Flow Improver is recommended.

  AMSOIL Diesel Injector Clean is recommended for all light- and heavy-duty diesel engines, including on-road, off-road, marine, and high-pressure common-rail applications. For best results, follow the initial clean-up dose, then use the maintenance dose regularly. Using the product with every tank helps maintain injector cleanliness, improve fuel economy, and reduce fuel system wear.

  Compatible with diesel particulate filters and emissions systems. Safe for use with AMSOIL Diesel Cetane Boost and AMSOIL Diesel Cold Flow Improver. Add to fuel before storage. Complies with federal low-sulfur diesel fuel requirements.

  High-Pressure Common-Rail Fuel Injector Pintal & Traditional Fuel Injector Pintal

  Fuel injectors in high-pressure common-rail diesel engines use smaller, highly engineered components to produce the higher fuel pressures needed for improved combustion. The tighter clearances invite internal diesel injector deposits that interfere with injector needle actuation, reducing performance. External deposits can also form on the injector nozzle (the typical trouble spot for traditional injectors). While many other fuel additives have yet to catch up to the internal diesel injector deposit problem, AMSOIL Diesel Injector Clean targets deposits wherever they form, maximizing power, fuel economy and performance in high-pressure common-rail and traditional diesel engines.
