ALTRUM - Past, Present and Future
During Lieutenant Colonel Albert J. Amatuzio's service as an award-winning jet fighter pilot, he knew that the most important part of an airplane is the pilot, and he did his best to stay in top physical condition.

Amatuzio's belief was that a higher level of physical performance and well-being could be attained through proper nutrition. In 1985 he brought this principle of health through better nutrition to AMSOIL INC. with the founding of the ALTRUM nutritional product line. It became the flagship line for the ALTRUM Division.

ALTRUM products will always be on the cutting edge. In the future, ALTRUM will continue to provide the same excellence in health products that AMSOIL first established for lubricants in 1972.

The driving force behind the ALTRUM Division has been Al Amatuzio's unwavering belief that good nutrition and a healthy lifestyle are vital to success.

ALTRUM Today
That brings us to where the ALTRUM Division is today. Al Amatuzio made history by developing the world's first synthetic motor oil, and for many, he made history when he expressed the importance of health and nutrition by creating the ALTRUM Division.
